Nvidia GT 1040???

So basically in Australia if you want a GTX 1050 in a laptop it is around $2000, way too much for me so I was wondering when is the GT 1040 going to be released? Is there any news about this GPU not dating back to early last year? Having pascal efficiency and performance for cheap would be great.

You're looking in the wrong places then.  

Dell Inspiron 15 Gaming is like $1500 and you get a 7700HQ, 1050 Ti, 16GB DDR4 and a 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD..

rumoured a few APU's will have rx460 performance. would be worth it to wait if that's true.

It'll be like ultra fast if it's Vega with HBM2 on package, that'd only be in the high end stuff I guess
