Wondering if anyone can help me

So i just recently downloaded optifine so i can use SEUS shaders. Ever since I downloaded it ive been getting 39 FPS, its stuck at 39 so im guessing its capped for some reason. I made sure that i checked unlimited frames in the minecraft settings. Before downloading optifine and the shaders I would get 500+ frames.

I have a GTX 970 and a i7 4790K so I think should be getting at least 100 frames..

hopefully i made sense. thanks

Try turning down your Shadow Resolution in minecraft it's self. SEUS is notoriously taxing on hardware. You should definitely be getting more frames than that under normal circumstances, but it will be dependent on the environment that you're in, how many shadows are being cast, and other things going on in-game. I'd maybe just turn down a few options, and see what works. Make sure Multisampling is disabled in the settings of the Shaderpack it's self

Changed "Supersampling" to "Multisampling"
