Laptop Battery Problem

So i haven't had this problem until recently the battery is not detected by Windows. So i disassemble my laptop and found the battery looking like this (already got it out from the Laptop now).

 

 

Any ideas to fix it ?

throw that battery out please safely dispose it than order a new one.

take multi meter

set to OHM

blk lead laptop bat blk

not the actual battery

touch red lead to the other batblk spots should see 0.00 meter

put red lead to the other colors should get open circuit

if not then find internal short and repair

check charger make sure meter reads the chargers labeled dc volts
