Make sure your using the right thickness. Not sure what waterblock your using. I know EK usually gives you a bit extra, Same with AquaComputer.

thats everything that came in the box, I haven't cut anything at this point, evga 1080 ftw block from ek

That one long white strip is not needed. I'm using my MSI GTX 1080 as a reference. It only requires the one long strip and cube pads.
