amd fx 6k series does it realy suck so hard ?

ASUS M5A78L-M LX   is prety outdated mobo and i am not shure if it will suport cpus from ryzen

i have one upgrade in mind but is it worth it  i have one pc with gigabyte mobo  and max 4gb ddr2 ram support is it worth buying ram for it and upgrading too some xenon quad core socket lga 775.. its my secondary pc recetly got celeron d for it from friend but i want it too preform better so is it worth refreshing?

The FX-6300 is better than the LGA775 CPUs... If you want to use this PC as a secondary PC, get a Q6600. It costs $15 on eBay. I got one just to see how it performs and it is quite impressive.... At stock it performs like my Pentium G3258, which is amazing considering that the G3258 costs 5 times more!

You mean the LGA771 Xeons? You need to mod the socket for those....

OK. Those Xeons are pretty amazing for the price. They perform like overclocked Q6600s...

i have one more relic from past from amd glory days the semron 64 bit cpu with asrock agp x8 mobo and 512mb ram lol  but yeah dont have any plans for it and ddr1 is not athing anymore xD
