How do I completely remove windows 10 password.

Chaicho

I tried removing my password by going into "control userpasswords2" since the normal method doesnt exist anymore.

And I dont have to log in the password when i shut it off  but when I put it to SLEEP mode I have to log it in again.

How do I remove it?

It can be changed through the power settings. Find it here.

I dont want to disable it  you see. I want to completely remove it so even when Lock it (Win L) I dont have to put in a password.

Tried this and it worked

1.Type netplwiz in the Start menu search bar, then click the top result to run the command

2.Remove the tick from the box next to 'Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer' and hit Apply

3.Enter your username and password, then re-enter your password. Click Ok

4.Click Ok again to save the changes

Got this from  PCadvisor...

Yeah, its the same thing. It doesnt require password I turn it on but when It comes back from sleep mode or when I Lock It thats when it asks me for password which is quite annoying since I do that pretty often throughout my day.

Can this even happen? I mean isn't it default by the windows to have a password (cause of microsoft account and such)? With the 2 solutions we gave you, you realistically never use the password, unless you actually manually lock your computer (I don't know why you'd wanna do that).

Oh the lock screen when you wake up your PC.

Simple!

Depending on which version of Windows you use, (and which update/build of Windows 10 you are in):

Just type in the Start menu search box: Power Plan, and pick it.

A panel will show, click on the blue link Change plan settings for the select power plan (it should be "Balance" by default), and then click on the blue link Change advanced power settings. Then click on the blink link on the panel panel that showed up: Change settings current unavailable

Then look for this option:

If you don't have the options above, then go to:

Start > Settings > Accounts > Sign-in Options. And at the top you'll find the option:
