Hey, so a friend of mine has had this problem for a while so I'm trying to help him out. But basically his computer crashes sometimes when he plays any game, it's very random but almost everytime in the beginning of the gaming session. He joins back and it runs fine... until next crash. His temperatures are fine, and we are not sure if it's a hardware or software problem. It did happen as he got Windows 10... but that could be a coincidence.

He has run DxDiag, memory diagnostic tool, Rkill, and tried a few things

It seems to almost always crash when starting the game a second time

The screen goes a different colour, depending on the game, before crashing (So one game it could go brown etc) but the computer is on for a while with this screen, then it shuts off.

I'll edit the post when I get more information

Any ideas?

describe crash

- bluescreen? (if so, what does it say)

- locks up

- shuts off

- shuts off and restarts

- something else

having a list of specs would be handy as well.

also, did he *upgrade* to windows 10, or do a clean install of windows 10? because if he did an upgrade, 90% sure that that's what causing it.

And he did a clean install apparently
