What exact i5? And why is nvidia preferred? Budget? At he budget you probably have AMD is probably the better option.

470 is a far FAR better p/p GPU compared to the 1050Ti.

And since you can find RX 480 8GBs slightly cheaper than 1060's and that a 1080p IPS 75Hz Freesync monitor can be had for $115, it is certainly to be considered. And OP can't say because of "shadowplay" since AMD ReLive exist and so on
