First of all whoever deleted my last post is a dick xoxo. And it was a real problem. My RAM usage went to 90% with just two tabs open in chrome. And CPU keeps spiking up and down too help

Was the last topic in the "CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory" subforum as well? If so then it's probably because this actually belongs in the "Troubleshooting" subforum instead...

Chrome eats up a lot of ram in general. This has to do with the amount of extensions you have too. The more you have, obviously the more ram will be used. Although it would be good to know how much ram your computer has in order to help you.

Something else to keep in mind, this would only be an issue if you have a high amount of ram. If you have 4GB or less, then you should probably upgrade. Your system knows what it is doing when it comes to deciding what gets placed in the ram, and what is used in swap. What you should really be looking out for is the memory pressure. If that goes up drastically, then you may have a problem. If it is low, then you should be all good. Just let your system handle the allocation of ram. Unless it impacts your usage of the computer noticeably.
