SSD BRICKED

i needed to secure erase my ssd and i used parted magic ,i took it two minutes to erase and it said the stauts is finished but stuck in that for an hour ,i had to hard reset the PC and now the ssd is gone and not showing either in the bios or parted magic ,please what i can do ?

@iamdarkyoshi you told me that if certain wiping programs are interrupted the drive bricks itself iirc yes?  Could this also happen with SSDs?

yes it happened ,please do you have any ideas ?

If its not showing in the bios, I'd say it has likely killed itself. Only thing to do is RMA I'm afraid

If your SSD is within warranty (which it likely is) you send it to the manufacturer to get a replacement.

Good luck! Remember to read the RMA instructions from the manufacturer twice, they might need you do do stuff like write a number on the box and put an invoice inside.
