4 core with smt vs without

If I buy a hyperthreaded 4 core chip rather than a general 4 core chip how much increase in life span will i get  rather than less jaggies and smoother performence  in game play 

If I play games only at 1080p

At up most settings possible keeping fps btn 30-60 ,monitor @  60 hz

And play gta,1st person shooter games and racing games only

the 2600k still is a good chip while i5 2500k is left behind in the dust. it also depends on what future games you will play.

The CPU has the more affect on lower resolutions, as increase the res the GPU becomes the bottleneck, if you can id get a HT/SMT model
