Fuck Newegg. Amazon with prime is about 10x better.  Contact chat support -> get items sent to you for free. There is your free insurance and you don't even need to pay yearly for it!

when you return a cpu nobody ever asked me what I used to cool it. I also don't volunteer any information that wouldn't be relevant.just clean it off with rubbing alcohol package it the way it's supposed to be packaged ( original box/cpu cooler and that little black plastic cap ) in a box with the rma # printed on the outside.

So I have nothing but good to say about Newegg, but I have started doing my more expensive purchases through amazon, even if its a few bucks more just because the return and coverage policy has been easier and better. Had a bricked MOBO with both Newegg and Amazon. Newegg took 4-6 weeks to resolve it. Amazon had a new one shipped before the old one even got back.

That's exactly why I love them so much. They value the consumer higher than the companies linked to them lol.

Hi zer0gravity,

I apologize for the confusion. Please email us at wecare@newegg.com with the Newegg item number of the item you are looking to purchase so we can get some clarification on these two protection plans. Please also include a link to this review.

Regards,

Darlene  (Newegg Support)
