PC boot up problem

Hi, My HP Pavillion Slimline S5780UK has a problem. It would boot up with all fans running, green light on motherboard and after about 10 seconds it would shut itself down. Sometimes I can log in and reach the desktop, if I kept the pc off for a while. Then after about 20-30 seconds in it would turn on by itself, but this time it would shutdown again but much quickly than before. I determined that the amount of time it takes before shutting down depends on how long the PC has been off, I had it off for a day and that allowed me to access the desktop no problem before shutting down again. This process of booting up and shutting will continue and cycle BY ITSELF, i wouldn't touch the power button and it would just keep doing that, unless I unplug it from the wall.

 

Can you guys please help me determine what could be causing this? I'm not that tech savvy and would really appreciate the help, thanks!
