Optimizing rx 480 8gb

Hello!

I'm wanting to optimize my rx 480 8gb as best as i can. 

Model -rx 480 8gb asus strix

 

Any tips to get the best efficiency and performance would be appreciated.

Overclock it.

Then you need to decide if you want to "overclock" which today isnt really real anymore. Your gpu will lift its clock if it can but if you aren't hitting any power limits or thermal you can go into msi afterburner and lift the clock. I suggest you study up a lot on it before hand but as long as you dont mess up its fan curve you should be fine.

Overclocking then. Overvolting too for higher clocks, + raise the power limit to the max.

 

If you say efficiency then it can be understood as if you wanted lower power draw, you'd have to downvolt, turn on PowerEfficiency setting in radeon settings, reduce the power limit -50% and downclock if it's necessary.
