simple question mobo vs ram compatability

Yes, but why?

It isn't worth upgrading a PGA 478 Computer, they are still garbage and useless if you max them out and put a 3.4GHz P4, 4GB DDR1 and an ATi x1950 XT in them.

its the wifes pc and unless i can find ram and mobo and cpu for under 200 its the only feasible option as of now its only running 512mb lol

u can get a newer generation ram, mobo and cpu for 200

The picture is DDR1, I assumed a retailer would actually picture what they are selling.

I agree I should have read this listing title better, but a picture is equal to 1000 words.
