Best PS for me?

I will be running an overclocked GTX 1070, i7700k OC as much as safe temps goes with an air cooler. I was looking at the EVGA 650W BQ and Corsair Cx650m. Any ideas of better choices? These are around $80.

450W would be fine btw. Is that $80 USD? For that, you could get an EVGA G2/G3 550W PSU, which'd be plenty for your build.

450W enough? So you mean my current RM500 Bronze is good enough?

 

I read the guidelines in this forum that I would need 650W minimum, at least 550W.

You could run that build on a 350W PSU. 450W is more than enough, and 500W is overkill

Recommended PSU ratings are usually bullshit btw. I agree with the former, and overclocking can be done on a 450W PSU.

The CX650M would be fine but there's better for the same price. The EVGA G3 550W is often found for like $80. The 650BQ isn't particularly good.
