Using graphics card with virtual machine

I am using macos sierra on VMware but i cant use my graphics card. I have an rx 470 which is natively full suupported. Is there any way. Or any other application to solve this problem

One of the prerequisites to passing through a graphics card so that a VM can use it, is that you need to make sure that it isn't allocated to the host OS. This means that you would first need a different GPU for the host.

 

Other than that, there's a load of other things that need to be accounted for. Generally when stuff like this is done, the VMs are started when the machine is booted rather than having a specific host, this allows resources to be directly allocated to VMs without the host having a handle on them.
