Usb wireless adapter

Hello,

I was studying about wireless penetration testing the other day. I came to know that I will be needing a usb wireless adapter to use aircrack and airmon on kali linux(i.e. monitor mode and stuff). So my question is  can I use my phone instead of usb adapter..if yes then how?...

 

Note:- USB tethering does not work for this purpose... I have tried it

no that doesn't work. unless you flash nethunter on your phone but then you basically are already running kali linux on your phone and don't need another PC anymore.

No you cannot use your phones wireless, you need to use a wireless adapter and here is a guide on how to hack wifi using your phone-pretty interesting
