Alright, thanks, I'll look into it, do you guys happen to know where i can get a new 1050Ti 2-4gb for about $110-$120? I have a pretty tight budget for a gpu, about $125

Do you guys also think i should get a 400w psu just in case, or should i be fine?

Uhhhh.. if you can stretch to $140 you can pick up a decent 1050Ti 4GB, but otherwise you'll be stuck with the 1050 non-ti 2GB which is suited for sub-1080p gaming

I hope i put this in the right spot...

ANYWAYS

I'm a real noobie when it comes to computers (literally just started getting into them about 2 weeks ago) So, I don't know much about them.

I got a Dell HP Pavilion 500y for christmas (prebuilt pc was a mistake) and I wanted to be able to play and record games for youtube, and I realized that my gpu was really REALLY bad, I was hoping to upgrade to a GTX 750ti 2gb and i was wondering if it would work in my system, my specs are below:

Motherboard: N-Alvorix-RS880-uATX

Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1045T

RAM: 8GB

GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6450

Hard drive: 1.5TB

PSU: Internal 300W (100V-240V)

*MORE INFO* http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02679437

I was hoping to be able to play games like Overwatch, Crysis 3, Paladins, Gmod, Subnautica, TF2,  ect. at low - med settings and get 30 - 50 fps while recording, even 20-25 fps is acceptable for me (my current pc can play subnautica but I get 8-10 fps because of my gpu)

from my research ive seen a lot of posts saying that i should be able to play most games at med - high, or even ultra (http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-750-Ti-Desktop-Graphics-Card.126721.0.html) with the 750ti 2gb

ive also seen posts saying i dont need to upgrade my psu

my main question is - should i be ok to upgrade to the 750ti without any problems? and should i upgrade my psu just to be safe?

side question - should i be ok to overclock the 750ti also?

Thanks

~Snow

750Ti is outdated - 1050Ti is where it's at man.

It should work, but DON'T OC. 300W is pushing it.

You shouldn't need a 400w psu, and if you do get one, no offense but you don't seem very tech savvy and will probably forget to plug in a cord or someshit

Uhhhh.. if you can stretch to $140 you can pick up a decent 1050Ti 4GB, but otherwise you'll be stuck with the 1050 non-ti 2GB which is suited for sub-1080p gaming

idk
