Prebuilt - Ripoff?

A friend of mine is thinking whether he should build or buy a gaming pc, I've been telling him how it's a ripoff especially before Ryzen releases but anyways here are the specs:

CPU: i5 7600

CPU Cooler: Custom one (im assuming its the one for £25)

RAM: 16GB DDR4 (2133mhz)

GPU: GTX 1060 6GB

Motherboard: Asus H110M-A/M.2

Storage: 250GB SK Hynix SSD + 1TB Seagate Barracuda

PSU: Corsair CX600 (this cheeky website doesnt let you choose a lower wattage than 600w)

Case: CiT F3 (very cheap generic case, retails for about £25)

OS: Windows 10 Home

Price: £1045

He's willing to pay this amount since he hasn't built a computer before, but I have to say he's better off than I was since I learnt about building computers solely off the internet, he does have the advice from people who know about this so I'm confident he is going to build one in the end.

He'd be better off spending £995 on parts and paying you £50 to build it for him. He'd get much more for his money.
