Help Needed

Alright, dont shoot the messenger here, but a friend of mine back in October bought an FX-9590 for his system build. The motherboard he got, no surprise ended up failing within three weeks, so I'm wounder what motherboards I should suggest to him, seeing as he asked me to fix it. Just looking to figure out what boards to recommend him, because I want to budget out all his options. Those being Ryzen, Kabylake/Skylake or just getting a new functional mobo.

Yeah i would wait for Ryzen. from the leaks it is looking very promising; consumer-wise.

Maybe think a little harder. He should sell his processor and then wait for Ryzen.

Again, not what I asked. I know what he should do, but I want to know what motherboards to recommend to give him all his possible options.

if you have no budget than i recommend the ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z.

you gotta look. some descriptions will say they support high watt processors. ( what are they 200watts or something )??? LOL
