got to the wiring of my build and my 24 connector it was more like 20pin with a 4pin. and my cpu connector one side is a full 8 pin and the other is (2) 4 pins

which side do i plug into my motherboard and which one do i plug into my psu and does the cpu plug go in the slot labeled eatx12v?

20+4 is on the same cable, put it in the 24 pin connector. As for the other it depends what board you have, can you attach a picture or tell us the exact model number? Some are 4 pin atx others are 8pin, normally in the top left edge of the board. Also what PSU is it?
