Video card clock speed problem

Yesterday I tried setting my 260x to run at 100% clock speeds at all time because I was having some FPS issues. I did this by setting the unofficial overclocking mode in MSI Afterburner to "Without PowerPlay support" and it did the job. Now however I set it back to "disabled", yet the clock speeds are still stuck at 100%. And now I can't change them at all, not manually or by changing the profile. I can change the memory clock manually, but not the core clock. Help would be greatly appreciated.
