GPU Help Please

Hello guys and girls,

 

I was just wondering If someone could help me maybe Linus or Luke himself I have a GTX 1070 Armor 8GB graphics card and I am going to purchase a 1080 on Friday (17th Feb '17) but I am having issues with my 1070 please could you tell me what is wrong with my GPU in games as my PC is more than capable of running games like Battlefield 1, Far Cry Primal and even Batman: The TellTale Series, please find attached two pictures of what I mean. (Yes Batman is Dark I know lol, Look at his chin and shoulders).

Look at the graphics on the pictures they are spiking out for some reason and I don't know why.

Please look at the pictures, the graphics look like they have skewers running through them, Is my GPU on it's way out?

do you have any others?

also, does this only happen in games, or also on the desktop in general use

You can't see on Batman's chin it spiking out and on the Far Cry Primal menu in the back the graphics are going nuts?

 

It only happens in games, general desktop use is fine.

hmm try downloading a benchmark utility like valley benchmark and let it run for a few minutes and see if you have the same issue

Do the spikes only show up there, or do they show up while playing games as well?

It's in other games too such as Battlefield 1, Batman and without the menu screen.

 

Doesn't happen like on the desktop.

Do you know if your memory is micron or Samsung? Download GPU-Z if you don't know. Some people are experiencing graphical artifacts with micron GDDR5.

It's Micron DDR5.
