Best 280 AIO?

To be quite honest I did intend to go with a NHD-15 originally, then I thought well if im speding £1900 I want it to look great as well has perform well also such coolers can cause interference with Ram and the top x16 pcie So its more of an ease and aesthetics.

Im hoping that the sound dampening material in the Fractal case should help remedy any extra noise from the pump and hopefully use quiet fans as well to reduce anything extra. I had considered the NZXT Krakens, but I heard that they were quite  loud which is why I then looked at going for a EK AIO as it was just as quiet as a Big Air cooler but with a huge price hike.

The Fractal will help slightly, but there is no way to know if you'll be happy until you try it for yourself of course. I'd be very surprised if BeQuiet Silent Loop Superior wasn't quieter than the Corsair. I'd stay away from the EK AIO range for now... for one, it's being discontinued and replaced later this year, and more importantly, there have been loads of leaks with them lately. I've seen numerous threads on here and other forums with reports of that, so I'd give them a wide berth.

So Im looking at getting a 280mm AIO. I was intending on getting the EK Supremacy AIO but its  expensive and is now at the end of product life (believe there are releasing a updated one soon ).

So the question is what is the best AIO out there, Im going to be aiming to make my new build as silent as Possible so noise is quite a important factor but If I have to have a little extra noise for more performance I can sacrifice a little bit of noise bit not too much,  https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6Pz7nn link to planned build here just there in case you are curios.

any help would be appreciated,

Adam

If you really value noise, is there a reason you have discounted a top end air cooler? AIOs can have a very slim edge in performance (not always though, and in respect to value, it's not worth it), but invariably are more noisy than air coolers, simply by virtue of having the same number of fans but including a pump in the noise mix. Stands to reason therefore you will have a higher total volume output.

If you are set on an AIO though, the NZXT Kraken X62 and BeQuiet Silent Loop Superior are supposed to be decent, so check them out. Personally, I would not recommend Corsair... I see more noise complaints leveled against them than any other, but they are common so perhaps that's why. It is a very common occurrence with AIOs though, people expect silence but are often disappointed when their system is under load and the fans and pump are blaring away. The only way you'll get "as silent as possible" in this instance is with a custom loop, but that obviously comes at a very high price.

System: Ryzen 7 5800X - Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master - Noctua D15S Chromax - 32GB 3600 RAM - EVGA Black 2080Ti

Yeah I thought that it would only make a small difference if any, but you are right I wont know till it comes to actually building the thing. The Silent Loop looks like a good option then, ah I didn't know about there incidents with leaks Ill definitely have to give them a miss then since If something is ruined because of it I wont be able to afford to replace it for a while. By The time I actually build this i'm sure there new range will be out so I may have a look but if Be Quiet gives the performance and noise it says to that will be my choice, and either way Im going to be keeping an eye on Ryzen so it will be a little time regardless till I build this. But Many Thanks for your help!
