happen to have a more specific explanation to what exactly "refuses" means?

- does the installer not open at all

- does it give some form of error / if so, when does it occur

- does it seemingly install but doesnt end up working

- does some other oddity happen (eg. system freezes during install)

some other pieces of information that could prove helpful:

- is everything connected propperly (sorry to be that guy, but double check this, you wouldnt be the first, and defenately not the last)

- where is your display plugged into at the moment?

- what is the hardware configuration you are running at the moment?

What do you mean by "refusues to install". Cant you open the installer or does it close when you start installing?

Goes through installation and says driver not installed. I check the logs and everything is fine but driver says fail. Dxdiag says no driver but relive says there is a partial. Also games say there is no driver.

EDIT: I use hdmi and everything is connected

try DDU'ing again (for the sake of having a "base line"), downloading a fresh driver installer, and *specificly* running the installer as administrator.

Open device manager, expand the graphics adapter section and take a screenshot

Right click your GPU and click Properties then take a second screenshot

Post them both here.

looks like a corrupt compiler, a fresh download and install should work.

Tried multiple downloads and versions. No luck

Did you trying testing the hardware (card) on different board ? could be a board or the card issue !

try re-seating (not resetting) RAM, GFX (cleaning the ports and contacts can help before placing the hardware back in ports)

try resetting BIOS (install latest firmware if need be)

try draning out all the power from the capacitors (disconnect powercable from the PSU, keep the power button pressed for around 25 seconds)

I did all this, factory reset, and even took the whole computer apart to see if there was any problems. We ended up saying the card broke
