Urgent help needed here

Hello guys , can you guys help me out ?

 

 

firstly i am using huawei modem by m1 and a asus n56 modern router . i have this problem that i do not know how to solve it . i got two PC at my home , one is my younger brother , another is use by me .

 

my computer cant connect to the wireless . i have bought a d-link 300 N DWA 132 wireless network adapter as my DIY computer dont have a built in wireless adapter in it . so i put in the CD and i plug in the usb adapter . it say the device is successfully installed. BUT there is still no internet !!!! how do i fix . do i need to install a driver or something ???

 

 

 

 

btw when you have a wireless there will have a list of wireless name in the taskbar right . but for me nothing came out

by rebooting ,what do you mean by rebooting device . Do you mean restarting my com ?

So your saying when your using a USB network adapter to connect to the internet?

 

All of the above replies i agree with.

They mean Rebooting your Modem.

 

Typically most modems have a reboot button on the routers' HTML form.

 

Just type in 192.168.1.1 into your web browser address bar and there should be a reboot button there.

If you can't do that just go to your router (irl) And there's usually a reboot button on it somewhere.

 

Could you specify what router you have?

have you rebooted the a) modem, & b.) router?

 

also, try resetting the router to factory defaults..

 

and one more thing, are you using the the Windows Wireless utility to the internet? Or are you using the D-LINK one?

to make thing clear , i can connect to the wifi /internet on my mobile phone and my brother computer . my brother comp have internal wireless adapter . the only problem is my tDIY computer cant detect wireless .

FML , I try various driver from many manufacturor. But keep failing. Hope some expert can help me . I am using d link dwa132 wireless N Adapter . Some error that pop out are 802.411N  driver are not found .

Can some mods close this topics . Problem solve . I remove my zone alarm firewall . And it's work fine now
