Most mobile devices these days have touchscreen which support 5 finger multi-touch. This is of course a nice feature but it is not used.

2 finger, a little for pinch to zoom, typing and such. For some games multi fingers are handy. But no apps or OS make any use of multi finger gestures or other multi finger options. Or do I just miss them?

Why does no manufacturer make any use of this great feature? It would be so nice to have more possible gestures, especially on tablets.

So try doing actual gestures with 5 fingers. It's pointless and tedious. IMO.

My phone has 10 point multi-touch, It's never used and I struggle to press all 10 fingers on at once, but it's there incase for some reason you need to press 10 points at once, it allows for flexibility.

Perhaps multi touch is hard on a smartphone but on my tablet, I am often using just my index finger, wheel my other fingers ot that hand are not used, I think stuff like volume down, could be done with like a 3 finger swipe down.

10 point multi touch is overkill nowadays, and regarding flexibility, have you ever encountered an app that uses more then 2 fingers? Again ecept typing and gaming.

Kinda like mouse gestures. That's the number one reason why everyone hates windows 8.
