It depends on the specific game and API implementation. But yes, overall they are pretty similar

Depends on where you live, which discounts you can get, and what games do you play. Its not that simple.

Those are the same 2 cards I was stuck between.  I was looking at the powercolor red devil rx480 in particular.  I ended up with the rx480 and have been very happy with it so far.  The games I have been playing on it so far have been DOOM, Overwatch, cs:go, and the ghost in the shell open beta.  all of those games run great with everything turned up to max settings @ 2560x1980 @ 75hz.  My only complaint would be that both my monitors have hdmi inputs on them and the rx480 only has 1 hdmi out so I had to buy a new display port to hdmi adapter.  I could have used a dvi cable as well, but it the ones I had were too short.

i ahve the 480 rs from xfx and it running bf1 at 4k 60fps med settings only hittin 74c cant fault it
