Computershops don't have big margins, increasing overhead by hiring staff just doesn't work usually. Repairs can't cost much and they can't put much of a margin on the boards either (competing with internet). The only ones capable of hiring extra people are large concerns, I'm sure you have a few big tech companies that sell multimedia stuff. But those outsource repairwork, so it probably boils down to sales only.

 

The advice; look for different work.

Well that's a matter of confidence and trust... Never broke anything that I couldn't afford to replace. It's only now that I'm a bit careless with stuff
