Hey everybody,

I have a question that I hope someone can answer. I live in a small apartment, and have a desk for my PC, but also want to be able to play games on the couch. I was wondering if it would be more advantageous to stream my main gaming PC to my laptop (Dell XPS 13 9350) or if I should invest in a longer HDMI cable (eg 25 feet-ish) which would directly connect my PC to my TV. I would also be using the xbox 360 wireless controller USB dongle to connect my controllers. I didn't know if anyone had run into a similar situation, or if anyone had advice to make couch gaming as seamless as possible. Thanks in advance!

Yeah I use steam, and have seen the steam link as others have mentioned, but that's kind of expensive and I already have a laptop that I can use from the "steam home" or whatever it's called streaming. I also already have 4x Xbox 360 controllers so I would really prefer to use those over a steam controller if I have people over who want to game.

Primarily I want to use this setup for gaming, but I have used programs like xpadder in the past so that I could stream media and use the 360 controller to manipulate my GUI
