Radiators watt capacity

It's useless... Yeah a 120mm rad can dissipate 700w, but it'll require a VERY high DeltaT (difference between water and air temps).  the higher the DeltaT the more heat it can dump.  I've never seen manufacturer claims of watt dissipation that actually tell you what DeltaT they used to get those figures

How do they get the numbers for watt capacity?

Based on those numbers, so should I be able to replace my 2x 480mm with just a 240mm, but despite using EK Vardar F4-120ER at around 2000rpm (hits 2200 at 50C GPU) so do I doubt my 70C CPU and 45C-50C GPUs agrees (100% load over night temps).

 

Are those numbers meaningless or does other factors limits the cooling capacity in my system?

i'm fairly certain that the watt capacity means what watt your psu is though i could be wrong.

Its watts of heat that it can cool xCelsius or something along that line.

I like the Black Ice line of radiators but I agree with OC, the wattage statement is theoretical.
