Strix 970 dead?

Hi LTT community,

So An hour ago I was playing bf1 on my pc when suddenly my screen said: no signal. I have located that the problem is the GPU. since when i plug into onboard HDMI, the graphics work just fine.

What i've done so far:

-Trying other video ports on the GPU,

-Using another PCI-E Slot

-Trying another psu cable

-Run on iGPU and check if the gpu is Bring detecteert (what is not the case)

 

When i try to use the gpu it works for a couple of seconds and then the screen goes blank.

 

I contacted customer support and they wanted to service it. But this is the second time i need to Send in an Asus product and if i cannot get it fixed Im just going to throw it at someone's face and get a 1060 from MSI or so...

 

Anyone has a possible fix?

Hmm maybe i'll bake it since there is no way Im going to Send it in.

I mean you don't really have anything to loose by baking it, hopefully someone else will comment and offer some insight as well
