Budget Gaming Rig (<700USD)

I already have a pretty good gaming pc(core i3, gtx1060) but I need another one for a house I also live in. A laptop would be more convenient but unless you could find an amazing one I don't really feel like having another one. I was thinking of going for some thing around a 7th gen i3 and maybe a gtx 1050 or gtx 1050ti. I need the budget to be under $700 preferably around $650. Mmm. Much no. Don't go for that SSD, they're not that great. Have you considered the Pentium with hyperthreading? They're supposed to be pretty decent for a budget computer, though I'd check as the games you play may not play as nicely with it.

 

What version of the i3 do you have? Skylake?

 

Is 240GB really enough for you? I had that in my last system and after a few games was already looking at my next upgrade.

Don't get the 1050Ti, the RX 470 is considerably better and the same price.

You could probably squeeze in an i5 OR a RX 480.  The Pentium here has Hyper Threading, like an i3:
