Hey all. I've asked this many times but you know. Prices change a lot. Also I have another use for a computer now. My original Reason is Gaming which is still one reason, But Another is For Rendering videos and recording/streaming.

I already have a 1440 x 900 monitor (I would like a 1920 x 1080 but I'll get that in the future.)

I have a mouse and a keyboard. All I need is a good gaming rig. My budget/goal is to keep it under $850/$840. Thanks in advance for any help :)

But TBH, I dont recommend doing this now. The i5 7400 is not a bad chip, but it's still a locked 4 core i5, and from the look of it so far Ryzen seem to have some pretty decent unlock chip with more core/thread coming out very soon, which will be good for your streaming/rendering task. So... wait for a bit longer?

just so you know, the ryzen launch will only include the high end processors (competing with the 6900K and 6800K) at launch date, and it will take a while after the paper launch for the lower end to trickle down the supply chain.
