Hey guys,

i need to ask ask for help. I got a new rig built by NCiX and will install my own GPU and hard drives from my current tower. I understand Ncix may not update to the latest bios / firmware if there are no issues during the initial Win 10 install.

Does thia his sound right?

1. Install MSI bios live update software.

2. Install GPU and seivers

3. Add hard drives one at a time.

4. Install software as needed.

Is there anythjng else else I need to do?

I would recommend that you use this to clean up your data, when you have like you said multiple drives chances are high that you have stuff on there that you dont need anymore. You should tidy things up a bit and maybe gets as much of it on a single/a few drives to make way for a clean start.

Going to pick up the rig now. Will boot up Win 10 to make sure everything works. Then will power down right away and install GPU and all the drives.

I am assuming it's safe to install MSI live update to update any bios as they roll them out? It's not the old days where I should do it in viable DOS?

I have an msI z270-a pro motherboard. Bought Win 10 but have no DVD drive and the boxes came with an MSI utilities disc. Besides the bios utility that I can download, so I need to install anything else for the motherboard? Like chipset etc...? Have not done this in a while.
