So, when i play watchdogs 2 my CPU is maxed all the way to 100% its an i5 6600k.

but when i look at task manager the game is only taking up about 80% and the rest only adds up to about 5%

Why is it showing 100% and bottlenecking my game. I didnt buy a pc to do this!

even when i put the settings on the lowest it still bottlenecks :(

any way to fix this?

MY RIG

I5 6600k

16gb Corsair vengeance 2666mhz

MSI Gaming X 1070

WD blue 2tb

samsung 850 evo 250gb

For Watch_dogs 2? If you don't get a 5820K/6800K (at least), expect your CPU to be maxed out all the time.

CPU: Intel Core i7-5820K | Motherboard: AsRock X99 Extreme4 | Graphics Card: Gigabyte GTX 1080 G1 Gaming | RAM: 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws4 2133MHz | Storage: 1 x Samsung 860 EVO 1TB | 1 x WD Green 2TB | 1 x WD Blue 500GB | PSU: Corsair RM750x | Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro (White) | Cooling: Arctic Freezer i32

Mice: Logitech G Pro X Superlight (main), Logitech G Pro Wireless, Razer Viper Ultimate, Zowie S1 Divina Blue, Zowie FK1-B Divina Blue, Logitech G Pro (3366 sensor), Glorious Model O, Razer Viper Mini, Logitech G305, Logitech G502, Logitech G402

Yeah.

Idk, but Watch_Dogs 2 can definitely max out an i7, let alone an i5.

It was pinned at 100. But never experienced stutters or frame drops.
