The build look sweet, but why did you choose a gaming monitor over a monitor 

that is purpose-made for editing / grapic design (i.e. Eizo ColorEdge or Asus Pro-Art)?

If i want to do some gaming i have the high refresh rate (and it's ok for graphic design since is an ips display)

6900K is basically a 5960X, it saves you money, also swapped a couple of other items to save a little $$$

The storage solution is stupid. $500 for 1TB, split evenly across two drives? What? This is ridiculous. $500 could get you twice the capacity on a single SSD, and if you want a stupidly fast boot drive, you can still get a boot drive as fast as either of these and a large mass-storage drive, still giving you closer to two terabytes of storage.
 

Also, $300 for 32GB of RAM? That's pretty poor value when all you get is a little more speed (2800 MHz RAM isn't too far behind, and it'll cost you 33% less for that capacity) and a gimmick, but if you have this much money to burn, what the hell.

 

The upcoming Ryzen 8c/16t chips are faster than the 5960x and the 6900k for half or even 1/3rd the price. It'll soon be very clear justhow overpriced Intel's chips are, and it's stupid to buy them just one month before the Ryzen release date. Even if you don't care about how much you spend, money spent on Ryzen chips is money spent on waking Intel up and making the CPU market competitive again. It's spent towards a better cause.

You remember incorrectly. Flagship is about $500. Cheapest 8C/16T is about $300.
