lga775 core2quad, intel Is it compatible???

So I fried my board recently and I wanted to buy a new(used) one. I found an intel d975xbx2 Motherboard which cost $30 to try and see if the Core2Quad Q9500. I have done some research but I am still unsure if they are compatible for each other or not. Can anyone mind digging further for me ??

In the technical specs it says its compatible with every other 755 cpus but core 2 quads.

Best bet is just going fort a regular mobo manufacturer.

Nope. The best CPU it supports is a Pentium D Extreme Edition 965, which is piss weak,

I heared that it works with a Q6600 core2quad... I guess its a myth... Thanks guys btw!!!(Very helpful community)
