Printer showing up as unspecified

When I downloaded the basic drivers off of the HP website, the printer always shows up as a unspecified device after the download. It always has a little clock by the unspecified device, just wondering why this does and why it takes so long (sometimes takes 10+ or a restart). Very frustrating when I'm remoted in with a user.

A problem with the Printer, or maybe Windows is being finicky. When was the printer made?
