Need a new gpu

Is there anyone who know anygraphics card witch dont use the 8 or 6 pin connectors ati or nvidia also can just need a good graphics card to replace my old one.

BTW my pc dont have 8 or 6 pin connectors and also its a pcie 2.0 slot

Current GPU:Nvidia geforce 840gs (quite creepy lags on every game)

1050ti or rx460 is best for your very low tier system. Both dont have any power connectors.

Your machine isn't worth putting a gtx 1050 ti into, since it's so under-powered in other places it'll be imbalanced.  If you are adamant in keeping it, It needs upgrades all around.

 

You can start by scouring ebay or alibaba for perhaps a core 2 duo e8400 cpu and some additional ddr2 RAM.  Look into maybe a gt 640 or radeon 7570 low profile for the gpu upgrade.  All of that shouldn't run you more than $50usd.  

 

Side note: Just double check what cpus are compatible with your motherboard if you want a guaranteed compatibility.  Some later core 2 cpu's may need a bios update.  Yours is conroe so you may have to stick to e6000 series cpus.

Even if you install a new graphics card like the 1050ti and new ram you are almost guaranteed to encounter stuttering if you play anything modern with that Core2Duo.
