Hi all

Do you know if there is a way to edit the the bios on pascal cards like on maxwell.

I have an Titan XP that i have modded with an arctic cooling twin turbo 3, i first tried with an arctic cooling Extreme 3, but that was way to loud in idle, becuase of the way nvidia cards work now with fixed RPM for fanspeed.

So the thing i will try to do, is edit the bios on the Titan Xp so it know the max fan speed is 2000 instead of 6000 and make 0 RPM possible.

Can it be done is the question?

Just set a custom fan curve in after burner.

Nope does not work that way any more.

Nvidia has change the way there fan controller works so if i set fan to 50% its 50% of the orignal cooler witch is 6000 RPM.

So if i set the fan Control to 50%, the fan is running at 100% because the max speed is 2000 RPM,

Thats also means that the min. RPM always is 900-1000 RPM, because thats the min on the original Cooler.

You can't edit the bios on. Pascal cards so you are doomed
