Wait what xD , lol the only difference will be is you won't start the game from steam, you still get updates haha.

What I've heard from people who have it on disc is they have to wait for 7 or 8 DVDs to copy, and then still download another 8 GB or so of updates on top of that.  Just wait for it to be on sale on Steam :P

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

It only takes a hour to install. It's really not that painful, it normally takes longer to download for some people.

Personally I'd rather just let the download run overnight than sit there and babysit the installer, changing disks every 10 minutes but to each their own ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Well technically you just need to take the product code, download the launcher, and type in the product code, and it will download, either way works fine.

Hey, its cheaper. Its actually just CD key in different format. You can activate it with whatever drm that game happens to use. I actually installed BF3 from disc (I have bought all BF games I own on disc), with BF4 I just redeemed code on Origin and let my über dl speed rock.
