Are there any 5.25 bay adapters that can fit multiple HDDs or I assume more likely an HDD and a SSD?

Bleedingyamato

I'm looking for a 5.25 bay adapter to use to put the 2TB WD Black HDD I'm getting for my friend (aren't I nice?  ?) in her desktop.

I started looking and I noticed there was at least one adapter that mentions fitting a 3.5 inch drive and a 2.5 inch together.

Is it ok to have two drives in the one bay like that?

The main thing I wanted to ask about is does anyone have suggestions for more of these 3.5 and 2.5 inch drive to 5.25 inch bay adapters on Amazon or Newegg that I could look at?

I don't want to just buy the first thing I find without looking at other options.

You can use both drives simultaneously if you'd like. Make sure your motherboard supports hot-swap if you intend to pull out (haha) every once in a while.

I wish I had friends asking me to stick drives into their desktop. ;)

It's fine to have drives close together, as long as they're not overheating each other.

You can look at some products from IcyDock, many of which you can buy from Newegg and Amazon if you search their model numbers.

Hot swap is just if you want to remove and plug in drives as if they were USB flash drives while the computer is running right?
