Bose AE2 weird sound issues?

Hi, just got a question that I hope someone can answer . . .

I have a pair of Bose AE2 headphones that are about 2 years old, and for some reason I cannot hear any voice audio out of them. If I listen to music I have absolutely no problems, and if I’m watching e.g a CSGO stream, the in game sounds are distorted and I can’t hear the voices unless I turn up the volume. If I just listen to just voices then I cannot hear anything unless I turn up to volume to full, but then there is so much distortion I can’t make them out. Choral music is fine. I have tried with different headphones that work perfectly, so it’s not the computer. Any help would be great, thanks!

JIggle the jack of the headphones a little bit in and out of the slot while playing a movie. you will hear the voices when it is plugged in. Had the same issue and this worked for me.
