That is a ROG ext header, those are specific to ROG boards but the half of that header (right) is a USB 2.0 portion that the ROG ext needs. You can take a USB connector and install it onto the second portion without any issue if you need a regular 2.0 connector.

It does not fit on to it

Here we go this is a good photo of it, it basically consists of a USB 2.0 header and another set of 8 pins to the left, you just install it onto the USB 2.0 portion that is on the right (Under EXT lettering). The other header you had an arrow to is just a regular USB2.0 header but hard to tell from that photo.

my one as the blank on the top right hand side, and my usb 2 wont fit into it as the blank on the plug is on the bottom right. any ideas why ? Asus says its a standard 10.1 pin, but i cant plug my usb 2.0 into it.

Oh that header beside the ROG ext is smaller and not a USB 2.0, the lettering is referring to the USB 2.0 on the ROG_EXT header itself as that is the only 2.0 connection on that board. I believe those are pinouts for testing at the factory, best to refer to the manual for that.

1 x USB 2.0 header supports additional 2 USB 2.0 ports [ via ROG_EXT header]
