Help.

My mobo is an MSI B150I Gaming Pro AC. It has an i3-6100 in it, which is getting replaced in a few days with a KabyLake i7 (some money from a few shoots came in, I was getting fed up with Lightroom export times, etc).

Now, having a 100-series chip, the BIOS needed updating to the most recent version (1.8) - simple, I thought - download it, bung it on a thumb drive, follow the instructions on the manual, don't fiddle with anything whilst it's running and it'll all be fine.

Only, it's not all been fine. The update did its thing, progress bars scrolled across the screen, and on completion, it automatically rebooted, as expected. And then it got stuck. I still haven't touched anything, and I'm typing this on my laptop, staring a black desktop monitor. The LED on my case is lit up as if the system had booted. All my fans are spinning, and there is a single constant red LED ominously glaring at me from my mobo.

What do I do now (aside from submit a ticket with MSI asking them exactly the same question)?
