So soon i am going to do a HUGE upgrade on my PC, what i want to do is get a Zotac 1070 AMP Extreme and put it in a H440, and i want to get a new liquid cooler but i am not sure which one, i have my eyes on a but i dont know if this is the best choice, if it is where should i put the liquid cooler, i have heard that it is the best to put it on the front of the case.

i am not planning to get a "K" cpu but if you could recommend me one that can run on this motherboard then i will consider because im not sure what processor i should get.

The reason I mentioned the 'K' cpu is because they are unlocked for overclocking, but you would need a suitable motherboard i.e One with a Z97 chipset.

To be honest it wouldn't be worth swapping the i7 4790 for the i7 4790K as it would be very minimal gain. You also don't need a £120 cooler for your current cpu either as you can't overclock.

 

I would just do the case/gpu upgrade and maybe a new psu as that Aerocool isn't great. Kitguru have a review of the 600W model in the link below.
