Hello, I would like to get Lubuntu.

 

I would like help with

 

A) Installing it-Is there a website I can install it from, or do I need to buy it?

B)Installing and booting Lubuntu from a usb drive-Best way to do this?

Download the ISO, then use a tool called "rufus" to burn the ISO to the USB drive and then install Lubuntu from the USB.

You can also use unetbootin - it has many distros in its options. Just choose, click, and it will auto download and write desired linux distro to your usb drive. Or you can choose your own desired iso.

What if I need to put it on an external hard drive?  Is it the same process?  I read that rufus doesn't support external hard drives..
