What os?

Also, are the drivers up to date?

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

yes  ther is update try to unplutg the usb 3,0 head to re seat it and it broke off the montherboard should I replace the monther boarde or just get a usb hub

I mean, if you want go for it and get another motherboard, do it.

If you don't want USB 3.0, just get a USB hub. 3-5MB/sec is actually pretty good BTW. Also, the media you're writing to (e.g. USB Drive) affects the speed too.

It doesn't matter if it supports it or not, sometimes the chips on the hardware are just bad. This is why SSDs have different speeds. Even though they all support Sata Gen3, the worse chips will mean that the speeds will be different.

A hub won't speed things up at all.

If you really need something faster, I'd say get a PCIE add-in card, or if you're using a HDD, just plug it into a SATA port.
